Starting in 1994 I came into the garage door industry in probably the best circumstance a 17yr old could. I was the crewman for the owner of what would later become one of our areas largest most well respected residential door companies. We were a small company at the time and there was only 2 service trucks. I was taught first hand how each and every aspect of ANY job mattered so very much. I would often hear *!#$%!@#*%#  Andrew you have to pay attention to ALL THE LITTLE DETAILS! 

Things like, pre-drilling every hole so that the wood lag doesn't split the wood and cause the track, spring mount, motor operator or any attached part from falling and down damaging the door or worse yet injuring somebody. Never selling or forcing a sell of a new door where it's completely unneeded. Sometimes a good lube and adjustment could make a old door or operator work great for years to come. And to always keep learning! As the years went on, I moved on and worked for other companies in the industry, and worked with other great mentors and partners. I learned a lot of great things from them as well. All the while remembering in the back of my mind, the phrase,

"All the little details".

That phrase played a huge role in my commercial door background. Could you imagine being 20 feet up on a ladder working on a 480volt motor operator and forgetting or thinking you don't need to shut down and lock out the main incoming power? Not good. Then there's also little thing's like did you double check the tightness of the set screws on the sprocket, (a basic mistake, but it could cost a customer a lot of $ on a service call or worse, an injury). So from a basic service call to a complex install you can assure Burke Overhead Door will pay attention to those details and fix your door right. 

Growing up and still living here in Ventura, If I see a customer at the grocery store, at a ball game, at the gas station, at the beach or golf course, it's a great feeling knowing they are 100% satisfied with the services I've provided to them. Thank you to all my returning customer's who have stuck with me during this transition, and thank you to all the new customer's who are willing to allow me the chance to earn their business..
